When you register a Temu account in Armenia, we do not utilize facial recognition technology to verify your identity, and therefore Our Face Verification Processing notice is not applicable to you.
Legal Basis
The applicable data protection law requires a legal basis for our use of personal data. Our legal basis varies depending on the specific purpose for which we use your personal data. We use:
Your consent. We may process your personal data when you have given us your consent for the data processing that we communicate to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop the relevant data processing. Your withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (please note, however, that we may still be entitled to process your personal data if we have another legal basis other than consent for doing so). When we obtained your personal data on the basis of contracts you enter into with us (such as the Temu Seller Services Agreement) when you register for, access or use our Service, we may process such personal data for the purposes of the operations prescribed by the contracts. In this case, your consent will be deemed to have been given.
Compliance with a legal obligation. We may use your personal data where it is necessary for compliance purposes and to comply with the applicable laws, as described in the “How and Why We Process Your Information” section.

right to access your personal data and to request us to rectify, block, or delete your personal data if the personal data are incomplete or inaccurate, outdated, unlawfully obtained or not necessary for the purposes of processing; and
right to apply to the Personal Data Protection Agency (PDPA) to clarify the fact that your personal data has been rectified, blocked, or deleted by us and request to provide information on your personal data processed by us; or to petition our actions or inactions before the PDPA or in court.
